Subscribing to Ioken is free, we ask you to read this document to be sure you are suitable to the service and understand how it works. To subscribe you have to accept the information present in this document. Suitability and Safety
There is no age limits to be suitable as an Ioken user, we ask the members not to put particularly private material in their room and never use an offensive behaviour (the responsibility of the materials used in the public or private spaces is of the user). We are going to build a key to make the rooms more private and share more personal info with your friends. For safety we recommend people younger then 18 years old to always specify their age in their profile, so automatically they donÕt appear in the list of searchable users. They can choose who become friend with, or add people they already know to their friend list. Registration
You register to Ioken after you read this document and accept all the terms. You will access a form from the Login page; you have to fill the mandatory fields signed with a red asterisk and after that you join the Ioken community. All the private information that you are asked in the form like name, address, email remain private, we only use the email to communicate with you. Some fields in the subscribing form are optional, like city, gender, age but you can give that info if you want to be searched specifically from other people inside Ioken. The subscription is free and has no time end. Once you subscribe you get to the page My Place where you are represented by a default avatar and background. Clicking on the background image you can enter your room. Through the My Place menu you may personalize your room and avatar, changing them with other images provided by Ioken or using your own. Objects like avatars, photos, and videos can be added, deleted, saved in the position you like inside your room. Password
You choose a password and if you forget it, it will be reminded and emailed to you using a hint you provide when you subscribe. Content
Content published in your room may be seen from each person present in your Friend List. The responsibility of the content if of the user who the room belong to. Ioken has the right to remove all content we consider offensive and unpleasant. We welcome anybody that want to help us keeping the community safe and pleasant to stay in. Each user can make a friend list: there is an internal search engine accessible clicking on Search People. The search can be general or specific to country, state, zip code, age and gender. Once the user has a list he can look at it clicking on Friends, in the My Place menu. You can see the friendÕs avatar, room background and the online and offline state. Clicking on the friendÕs room background you may enter his place also if heÕs offline, maybe before an appointment or fixed event. When you invite a user to become your friend through the search engine he will receive an invitation message visible in the flashing button Messages of the menu. Ioken public rooms are open to everybody, also without registration. PRIVACY Ioken hosts Google ads in the pages of the website. Google, as a third party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on our site. Google's use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to our users based on their visit to our site and other sites on the Internet. Users may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by changing the preferences of their browser but they should be aware that Ioken needs cookies to be functional.
